"Separating the wheat from the chaff"

... And, our Internet Business Analysis' teacher, asked us to develop a lead-in presentation on SEO; so, I started my online research, chasing for interesting and different ideas about this topic. It wasn't an easy task though, as most blogs and websites available present the same and very basic content, just in a slightly different way.

After Googling for a while, I came across these great resources, which I would like to share here:

First, the video "Straight From Google: What You Need To Know", from Matt Cutts, at WordCamp San Francisco 2009; a great and pleasant presentation about SEO, backlinks and related topics.

And finally, the "Search Engine Optimization Starter Guide", available at Google Webmaster Central's website; this is a very useful and great-looking guide, giving starter advice on SEO.
